Popo and Pinkie would like to welcome you all to the first Bronies Australia Weekly Roundup! Remember, if you come across something tiny/amusing/cool during the week, fire it my way or put it in the User Submissions section on the forum.
All the fun's after the break. See you next week.
Official Derpy toy coming to Comic-Con
Hasbro have made an actual Derpy toy, and it's going to be a Comic-Con/My Little Pony Fair exclusive. While this is more depressing than exciting for us Australians, the upside is any remaining stock is going to be sold on the official website - if you get in fast you may be able to beat some Americans to the punch. Also: Derpy loves Muffins is now canon. Just look at that box. You can find a few more images here.
Brony documentary Kickstarter fully funded
For those unaware, there's a planned documentary on the brony phenomenon up on Kickstarter. What differentiates this from the numerous fan-made docos already in existence is John De Lancie, Lauren Faust and Tara Strong all working on it. The funding drive has reached its (updated) $200,000 goal, but you've still got a few days to go and make a pledge and reap the awesome rewards (like a voicemail recorded by John De Lancie).
Lego Cuusoo Ponies cancelled
Lego Cuusoo, the site that allows user submissions of lego models to be made official, and that has seen the official creation of Minecraft LEGO, has cancelled the highly-voted pony submission, citing problems with licensing via Hasbro. Sad, but probably expected.
Season 1 Volume 3 now available for preorder
You may have seen about a month ago the announcement, but now it's all concreted and you can go and preorder yourself a copy. It's called Four Seasons of Friendship and will be released on August 1 for $19.95.
Celestia has a badass solar beam
Thanks to Opine Daze for sending this one in - it's a pretty well put together flash game. I blew a good half hour on it yesterday. I AM CELESTIA AND I AM SHOOTING LAZORS. Go and play it.
South Australian meetup
Described as 'awesome', 'that guy had a cool hoodie', and 'INCREDIBLY' which is apparently some sort of in-joke I'm not entirely aware of. Headcount saw 57 people in attendance, which is one pretty decent number.
I am an octopus!
